Viva Las Vegas! Last weekend, we ate, drank, gambled, shopped and danced our asses off. Needless to say, we’re exhausted but had a terrific time. Here’s a sneak peek of our little getaway:

After much preparation, I arrived at the courthouse bright and early this morning for my first trial. After much waiting, I left the courthouse annoyed and frustrated by being passed for a preferential criminal setting. Thankfully, I can let off some steam while in Las Vegas this weekend. Until then, these pictures make me feel slightly better:

Yea! I’m on my feet, and my sparkle fingers are working overtime. The next couple of months will be filled with some of my favorite things…dresses, shoes and jewels. I simply can’t get enough, especially of these dazzling dames who rocked the Nokia Theater tonight:

Yesterday was my husband’s 30th birthday so I cooked him a delicious dinner of hamburger steaks, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, rolls and chocolate chip pound cake for dessert. Yes, I know what a wonderful wife I am…ha! This week’s hodgepodge is also wonderful:

It’s Labor Day, and I realized that I know very little about the holiday. So, I did some research, and I hope that you’re up for a quick history lesson. The first Labor Day was celebrated on September 5, 1882 in New York.
