I had absolutely no intention of blogging about the SAG Awards, but there were simply too many glam get-ups to go unnoticed. These ladies are hotter than Texas on a July afternoon. Check ‘em out, y’all:

Miscellaneous Monday
Can you believe that it’s already the end of January? Time really does fly, and I’m trying to keep that in mind when I get impatient about owning a new house. 2013 and the building process will be here before I know it. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy the little things, like these lovelies:

New York Fashion Week is just around the corner, and as you can imagine, I’m having a hard time controlling my excitement. Thankfully, a few designers were kind enough to debut their wares early. Elie Saab’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2012 collection is to die for. The craftsmanship is truly amazing, and the pastel color palette is dreamy. Lust away:

My Etsy shop (tentatively named Fab Finds) is still a work in progress, but I finally finished the first item to be sold. Last weekend when we took Jaxon to PrimeTime, they were having a garage sale. Random, right? Totally, but I found this amazing mirror for only $5. Deal of the century! With a new paint job and some handmade flowers, it looks fab. Get it? Got it. Good.

Last weekend, Matt and I got our first taste of parenthood. Our nephew Jaxon stayed with us on Friday night, and we had the best time. We bowled for hours, raced go carts, played arcade games, ate ice cream and went rollerskating. Fingers crossed that this week goes as well:
