Ode to Olivia
Designers strive to create timeless, classic pieces. So, the term “trendy” isn’t exactly a compliment in the fashion biz. It’s a euphemism for a fad or craze, which King Karl would deem a big no-no. But, Miss P always finds a way to wear trends (i.e.: stripes and bright colors) in a tasteful manner. All hail the Queen!

In the past 18 months, I’ve lost 4 people whom I cared deeply for. I suppose one’s natural inclination is to ask, “Why?” and I admit that I, too, am guilty of questioning God’s divine plan. As a total control freak, I have a hard time following the mantra, “Let go, let God.” I’m working on that, and this particular Bible passage speaks to me:

What would you do if you had $25,000 just laying around? Go on a shopping spree? Buy a new car? Travel to your dream destination? Duh, Paris here I come! These gals opted to drop that kind of cash on a ticket to the 2012 Met Ball. Money well spent? That remains to be determined, but I have to admit that they looked like a million bucks:
